JAMES DECHAVEZ

James Dechavez, first tenor, first performed on stage at the age of five. He has sung in churches and high school and college choirs. As a student, he performed in Crossway, a musical recruiting group for Southwestern Adventist University. He graduated from SWAU in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing an R.N. degree. He joined Paradigm in 2007.

BUFORD GRIFFITH

Buford Griffith, III joined Paradigm in the spring of 2006. His family, friends and associates call him "Grif". A very versatile singer, he sings with both the baritone and tenor sections of Paradigm. He has been singing since he was four years old, performing in churches, evangelistic crusades, small and large choirs and other venues. Born and raised in Ohio, this son of an Adventist preacher has sung in many states across the United States and the Caribbean. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama and a Master's of Education degree from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. While at Oakwood College, Grif was a member and assistant director of the world-renowned Dynamic Praise choir. He also performs with the gospel quartet A'Men. He is currently an assistant principal at Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas. He plans to get his Doctorate of Education, become a building principal and a central office administrator.

JASON MOSES

Jason Moses, tenor, joined Paradigm in 2007, but he sang with Dr. Tucker in high school at Burton Adventist Academy. Jason also sings in an acapella male octet, In Unity. He is an accomplished violinist and an aspiring Hammond B-3 organist. Jason graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He currently owns and practices at Summit Peak Physical Therapy in Fort Worth, Texas. Besides playing racquetball and practicing music, Jason spends his time with his beautiful wife Michelle.

ED REIFSNYDER

Ed Reifsnyder, second tenor, has been singing in and leading choral groups and male quartets since he was fifteen years old. He joined Paradigm in 2001 out of a desire to participate in music at a higher and more challenging level. Ed owns a healthcare consultancy. He is a CPA and has a Masters degree in management.


JOSHUA SAMANIEGO

Joshua Samaniego has sung in churches, choirs/chorales, and ensembles since high school. He is currently involved in an a capella gospel group In Unity of which he has been a member since 1994. He has sung at events in both the continental US and abroad. His greatest endeavor is that of spending time with his beautiful wife and darling children. Joshua has had the honor and privilege of being a member of the Paradigm since 1997. Paradigm continues to both define and expand the musical avenues of this up-and-coming artist.

CHRIS WILSON

Chris Wilson who joined Paradigm in 2000, has a wide range of musical experience, including performing in many diverse musical styles (from barbershop to classical, jazz to gospel), teaching at several age levels, and playing tuba for ten years. He will complete a Bachelor's in Music Education in 2005 at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he has performed with the Chamber Singers, A Cappella Choir, and marching band. He also performed with Vocal Majority for four years and recently began singing with In Unity, a male octet. He currently plays drums at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church and teaches voice at Coppell High School. Next year, he will begin a new position at North Hills School as Music Director and Choral Director for grades K-12.

CLINT WOODS

Clint Woods, tenor, joined Paradigm Vocal Ensemble in the spring of 2002. Clint started singing with his family when he was a child at age eight and has learned to play several instruments, including the trumpet, guitar, drums, and bass guitar. Clint contributes his playing and singing to his local church and other musical programs for local organizations and events. Clint is a network security specialist for a financial services company. He is married to Joan Woods, an alto in Paradigm, and they have three beautiful children.
